My Story
Jasmine Brown, a proud graduate of NC State and native of Holly Springs, NC, is a renowned author and advocate for financial literacy. Following the success of her debut book, The Money Club, released in early 2020, Jasmine has continued to impact young readers with her insightful financial education series.
A passionate sports enthusiast with a background in football, swimming, and dance, Jasmine’s competitive spirit extends to her role as a coach. It was through her work with student athletes that she recognized the critical need for financial literacy among young adults. This realization led her to found FACTS for Youth, a nonprofit dedicated to providing financial literacy workshops that empower teens with the skills for financial success and independence.
Jasmine’s latest project, Money Lessons with Dad: Jasmine's First Bank Account, is set to launch on October 9th and is available for preorder. This new addition to her series is designed to teach grade school children essential money management skills, continuing her mission to make financial education accessible from an early age.
